License & Acceptable Use

License grant

• One-time purchase: a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for your organization to use that snapshot of the List for its own internal business outreach.
• Subscription: the same license for each quarterly file delivered while your subscription is active. When a new file is delivered, you should replace the earlier file and apply any removals it reflects.

You may not

• Resell, sublicense, rent, share, publish or give away the List or any part of it, or combine it into a product you sell.
• Upload the List to public websites, directories or data marketplaces.
• Use the List for harassment, discrimination, fraud, phishing, or any unlawful purpose.
• Use the List to send autodialed or prerecorded calls, or marketing text messages, to mobile numbers without the prior express written consent the TCPA requires. A non-opt-in list cannot supply that consent.
• Use the List to determine eligibility for credit, insurance, employment or housing.

You must

• Comply with CAN-SPAM for every email: truthful sender and subject lines, your physical mailing address, and a working unsubscribe honored within 10 business days.
• Scrub phone numbers against the National Do Not Call Registry and New York's Do Not Call rules before any telemarketing, and keep your own internal do-not-call list.
• Honor every opt-out and removal request you receive, and keep a suppression list.
• Delete records of anyone who asks you to.
• Keep the List reasonably secure and limit access to people who need it.

Termination

If you breach this policy, your license ends automatically and you must delete all copies of the List. We may refuse future sales and cancel your subscription without refund.
